Barton Theatre holding auditions for spring production “R.U.R. Rossum’s Universal Robots”
The Barton Community College Theatre Department will hold auditions for its spring production of the sci-fi classic “R.U.R. Rossum’s Universal Robots,” by Karel Čapek Jan. 11 and 12 from 5-7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

Shafer Art Gallery to host reception for new exhibit
The Shafer Art Gallery’s upcoming exhibit will feature works from emerging artist Rebel Mahieu & the late Steve Dudek, which will be kicked off with an opening reception July 8 at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will enjoy refreshments as well an artist talk from Mahieu.
