Census Bureau: More women than men in Columbus in 2019

Of the 3,086 people living in Columbus in 2019, 51 percent (1,574) were women and 49 percent (1,512) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Kansas News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,016-to-874. In the 65 and over age range, there were 292 females and 249 males.
