The Pittsburg State University men's and women's indoor track & field teams will open their 2023 seasons by hosting the Boo Rogers Combined Events Friday (Dec. 9) and the Crimson & Gold Invitational Saturday (Dec. 10) at the Robert W. Plaster Center.
The Boo Rogers Combined Events will start at 1 p.m. (CST) Friday. The women's pentathlon action will wrap up shortly after 6 p.m. with the running of the 800 meters. The men will compete in four of seven events in the heptathlon Friday, then return Saturday starting at 9 a.m. to wrap up their competition.
The Crimson & Gold Invitational begins at 11 a.m. (CST) Saturday.
Admission to each meet is $5 per day. Children 12 & under are free as are PSU students with I.D.
Both the Pitt State women and men captured 2022 MIAA Indoor Championships and are preseason favorites to claim conference indoor crowns in 2023.
