There was some magic in Arnold last night with Men's Basketball making it a historic night. The Hounds broke some records in their 111-48 win over St Mary's JV program. The Hounds Outrebounded their opponent 61-30. The 61 boards that the Hounds grabbed were the most in school history. The Hounds were passing out dimes all night to their teammates with 38 assists in 42 made field goals another record that was broken. Everyone for the Greyhounds that stepped on the floor had an assist with Andre Norris leading the charge with seven.

The 111 points that were scored were the third most in school history. All the Hounds that saw action had at least two made field goals. The Greyhound's took off to an impressive 23-6 lead and never looked back. The Hounds Pushed on the gas and led 47-21 at the half. The three were raining all night, with the Hounds shooting 48%. Keryn Collins lead the charge going 5-8 from behind the arc.

Coach Cochran had this to say about his team's effort "I'm so incredibly proud of the determination our guys came back from break with and focused on what we needed to do to continue to get better each and every day. Coach Mitch and Coach Long have done an amazing job teaching the players the unselfishness to be successful on the court and it showed last night. 38 assists on our 42 made buckets is a direct reflection of the student athletes we have and the love they have for each other."

The Stars of the game were Keryn Collins with 20 points, 2 assist and 3 boards. Clance Crosby continued his double- double trend with 18 points, 12 boards and 2 assist. Andre Norris continued his bulldog mentality with great defense and 21 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assist. Cooper Smith contributed with 12 points off the bench and Mohamed Maxamud chipped in with 7 points and 11 rebounds while coming off the bench. Overall, the bench scored 40 points.

The Hounds are hopeful to continue their four-game win streak into the weekend as they take on Scotties of Highland on Saturday 1/14/23 at 4:00 PM with the Lady Hounds starting at 2:00.
