#16 Red Ravens Travel to Garden City and Defeat #RV Broncbusters 74-68

The #16 NJCAA ranked Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Basketball Team traveled to Garden City Kansas, and defeated the #RV Broncbusters 74-68.  With the victory, Coffeyville improves its overall record to 16-4 including a 10-4 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) matchups.  The 10-4 KJCCC record has the Red Ravens sitting in second place in the 13-team KJCCC Division I standings.

This game was a close one throughout with Coffeyville behind early in the first half but then battling back to take a 33-32 lead at halftime.  The second half had the Ravens build a 5-point lead early in the second half and then maintained a five to nine-point lead throughout the second half finally securing the 74-68 victory.

Top performers for Coffeyville included sophomore guard Nathan Johnson who went 4/5 from behind the three-point arc on his way to 20 points as well as sophomore forward Jordan Wildy posting another double-double going for 15 points and 11 rebounds.  Red Raven freshman guard Landon Glasper rounded out the double-figure scorers posting 10 points off the bench.

Coffeyville will return to Nellis Hall as they will host the Conquistadors of Dodge City on Wednesday, January 25th.  Tip-off in Nellis Hall is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
