Banks, Ortiz, & Conner Earn KJCCC Women's Basketball Honors

The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Basketball team's season ended with an exciting run through the Region VI Tournament that ended with a 60-56 loss in the Region VI Championship game.  On the season, the Red Ravens ended with a 21-13 overall record. 

The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) released its annual All-KJCCC DI Women's Basketball Teams and the Red Ravens had three athletes listed.

Cheyenne Banks - Second Team All-KJCCC

Cheyenne Banks, a sophomore from McLoud Oklahoma, was selected to the Second-Team All-KJCCC team.  Banks served as the starting center on the Red Raven women's basketball team.  Banks ranked second in the KJCCC this season with a 57.7 field goal percentage overall and also ranked tenth with 181 total rebounds on the year.

Kyleigh Ortiz - Honorable Mention All-KJCCC

Kyleigh Ortiz, a freshman from Kansas Oklahoma, was selected to the Honorable Mention All-KJCCC team.  Ortiz was the starting shooting guard for the Red Ravens during the season.  For the season, Ortiz's made 72 three-pointers ranked her second in the KJCCC.  Ortiz's 38.1 three-point percentage ranked her 4th in the KJCCC. 

Jordynn Conner - All-KJCCC Defensive Team

Jordyn Conner, a sophomore from Tulsa Oklahoma, was selected to the All-KJCCC Defensive team.  From her starting forward position for the Red Ravens, Conner served as the defensive stopper for Coffeyville.  Conner racked up 209 total rebounds on the season which ranked her fourth in the KJCCC.
