2021 has 8.2% of Chautauqua County residents unemployed

Chautauqua County recorded an unemployment rate of 8.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 115 people out of the 3,394 living in Chautauqua County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Chautauqua County has increased compared to the 6.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Chautauqua County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
