2022: 14 coaches at institution in Bourbon County earned on average $27,966

Bourbon County’s 14 coaches earned an average salary of $27,966 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the sixth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Kansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Bourbon County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $31,066 on average in Bourbon County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $30,389.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
