Sunday, Feb. 2: Galena High School standout Brett Sarwinski’s college team wins to Metro State Roadrunners

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Galena High School standout Brett Sarwinski’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field against Truman State Bulldogs.
