Brett Sarwinski, former Galena High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Sunday, May 18 in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Sunday, May 18, former Galena High School standout Brett Sarwinski’s current collegiate team the Pittsburg State Gorillas lost 10-8 against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at ISG Field at 4 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks in the tournament.

The Pittsburg State Gorillas’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field.
