On Wednesday, March 5, former Galena High School standout Brett Sarwinski’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri S&T Miners.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their first matchup against the Miners this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m. at Wendell Simmons Field against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
